Kawai is our main agency. We are one of the very few Kawai agents in the rural areas who have been given this agency.
Their product is one of the best on the market today. An indication of the quality of Kawai is that at the last International Piano Competitions held in Sydney, the winning pianist, John Chen, chose the Kawai above all the other pianos on offer.
The quality of sound and reliability of these pianos is the reason we sell them.
We give a free gift with every Kawai piano we sell: Each Kawai comes with a matching stool and is prepared prior to delivery, not just unpacked and sent to you. We are proud of the pianos we sell.
We also sell the lower priced Wertheim pianos that is manufactured in China. These, in our opinion, are the best of this type of piano coming out of China. They are priced for the family who have aspiring musicians so you can have a real piano to learn on and not a keyboard. Our opinion is that if you start out with the real thing, your technique will remain with you for ever. We sell many pianos to parents who have done the keyboard thing, and discovered that they need to purchase a piano as their young ones progress. This is expensive, and indeed, the touch on a keyboard is not the same as the proper piano, and quite often changes must be made to the students touch after using a keyboard.
Tuning and Repairs: We will quote for the restoration of your old piano, or just minor repairs if required. All tunings in the home include cleaning and minor regulation. Repairs to sticking keys etc. are quoted prior to work being carried out.
We can fit new keyboard tops, re-felt damaged action parts, re-pin tuning planks, repair cracked soundboards, and repolish pianos. We can do most things for pianos, except make them younger.
Free Advice: We offer advice on old pianos and can give ballpark values with a little information supplied by the client.
